One Simple Step to Protect Yourself Online

As a Cyber Protect Officer, I’m often asked:
“What’s the best thing I can do to avoid being hacked or scammed?”

My answer is simple:
👉 Turn on 2‑Step Verification (2SV) on your important accounts.

Why This Matters

Passwords on their own are no longer enough.
If someone guesses or steals your password, they could get into your account.

2-Step Verification adds an extra layer of protection.

It asks for a second check — usually a code sent to your phone.

✅ This means even if someone has your password, they still can’t get in.

Please note 2SV is sometimes called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
